List of Events on the Calendar

Admission is $2/ person (for everyone) - no pre-registration is required. Participants will wear specially made pants with 20# of potatoes in them and walk ~100', ascend/ descend 3 stairs, step up/ off a curb, roll over on a queen mattress, take off shoes, pick something up from the ground (a Potato Pants/ SPF silicone bracelet), put shoes back on (maybe in a bouncy house - if event-insurance allows it) then finish. We will have categories for "No Falls" and a "progressive" category for those that want to see how many potatoes (above 20#) they can complete the course with.
Bathrooms on site.
Concessions will be available and a vendor will be selling baked potatoes.
There will be activities for kids (color sheets of our logo and Mr Potato Heads), frequent giveaways and SPF/ PLS/ HSP/ rare disease trivia (with all the answers provided). There have been a couple of 1 hour massages donated that we will likely raffle off as well.
Donations will be appreciated. Sponsored by Yakima Firefighers' Association - IAFF Local 469 and put on by the AC Davis HS Jr International Baccalaureate (IB) class.
