Dr. Ziv Gan-Or is a neurogeneticist and Associate Professor at the Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital (The Neuro), McGill University, where he serves as Executive Director of the Clinical Research Unit and director of the Neurodegenerative Disorders Research Group. He completed his MD and PhD at Tel-Aviv University, with a focus on lysosomal-related genes and their role in Parkinson's disease, before completing a post-doctoral fellowship at McGill. His Neurogenomics and Precision Medicine (NAP-Med) lab applies advanced genomics and computational methods to study common and rare neurodegenerative diseases, aiming to identify therapeutic targets at both the population and individual levels.
